1. BOOKING YOUR CONSULTATION
The first step in obtaining your voice demo CD is booking your consultation. This meeting can last  between 30 minutes and an hour, and is used to help determine the best reads for your voice depending on who you wish to shop it to.  The consultation is included in every package we offer, however it is optional. Should you wish to skip the consultation, there will be no reduction in the package price.

2. BOOKING YOUR RECORDING SESSION
During the consultation, we will provide you with up to 20 scripts to choose from, or we may email them to you shortly after the meeting. We suggest you choose up to 8 pieces, with the objective being to narrow it down to the best 5 or 6 reads. You are more than welcome to provide your own material, or mix and match with ours. Regardless, three minutes is a good duration for any demo CD. We will also ask for a 50% deposit when you book your recording session. The deposit holds the date for you, and with enough notice, we can accomodate re-arranging the date with no penalties.

3. HAVING YOUR SESSION IN THE STUDIO
You will have up to 2 hours to record your 8 pieces in our digital studio. If you want us to provide direction, we certainly can, but if you want us to just sit back and be engineers, we can do that too. To make the best use of your 2 hours, we suggest you prepare well in advance. Recording times in studio must be strictly adhered to, and should we experience technical problems during your session, we will re-book your session for a later date, and we'll honour the full two-hours regardless of how long the interrupted session lasted.

After you finish recording, we will discuss what the final tracks should sound like, and we will also agree on the printwork.

4. EDITING YOUR TRACKS & CREATING PRINTWORK

The editing session usually begins within 48 hours after your recording session. At this time we will also create the printwork for your CD's, depending on which package you've chosen. At the very least, your CD label has to be designed.

5. ACCESSING YOUR PERSONAL ORDER STATUS PAGE

When your tracks are ready for approval, we will upload them in standard-quality MP3 files to a secure area on our website and create for you a personal order status page. You will receive an email with your username, password and instructions on how to access your page. The page will show the details of your order, the current status and also include your audio tracks and/or printwork, so that everything can be approved in one step. A high-speed connection is recommended.

6. APPROVING YOUR TRACKS & PRINTWORK
Once you have listened to the tracks and looked-over the printwork, if you are happy with what you see and hear, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and press the APPROVED button. This will tell us that we can begin to press and package your order. PLEASE NOTE that once you approve the media, you are financially responsible for any changes requested after your order has been completed.

7. CHECKING THE STATUS OF YOUR ORDER
By logging into your personal page, you can check the current status of your order at any time. The page will be updated as the work is done.

8. GETTING YOUR CD'S
When your order is complete, we will contact you by email and phone, and arrangements can be made for pick-up. We ask that the full balance-owing is paid on delivery.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you are represented by an agency, we strongly suggest that you ask for their guidance on recording material and overall design prior to your session. Your agent should be able to tell you what will work best for them promoting you.
